Is Occupy Wall Street Cleaning Sweeping Protest Under the Rug?

Environmentally friendly cleanng products and elbow grease by the Occupants of Liberty Park get ready for NYC Sanitation inspection as Public Work or Ruse for Eviction?

Advertise | AdChoices

In less than two hours there will be a "cleaning" in Liberty Park where the Occupy Wall Street protesters have camped out since the 17th of September.

There's no question that the NYSE friendsters want to have their critics silenced and return to the MSM coverage of meaningless drivel, to take the spotlight off the 1% who will be richer again this year, not through the rewards of Capitalism, but through legislative manipulation that allows the shuffling of papers in balance sheets and side bets that yield unearned fortunes.

Wall Street has seen the month pass with its wide empty streets barring the investors that it has fleeced in the public, while the protesters have seen their numbers and support swell to protests across the Nation.

I'll be heading back to Liberty Park in about an hour to see if the Mayor keeps his word about allowing the Occupy Wall Street voices to stay indefinately or if the most tolerant city on the planet has "leadership" so out of touch with their role as public servants that they set off a backlash of anger among fed up Americans that the cleaning of the public space becomes the worst mess Wall Street never expected!

If we 99% are forced out of the public spaces, as we have been by Corporate Person NYSE, it will only hasten the response with our dollars as the frustration and anger travel like water, dammed and diverted are nothing but futile short term tactics that can't hold back a flooding pressure behind it.

Pics from Thursday & a deep hope that Friday makes me proud to be a New Yorker, because doing the right thing trumps deep pockets somewhere and my heart of hearts believes that if freedom rings anywhere it's the heart of the Big Apple!

How can one Corporate Person claim so much public space while so many mortal citizens who pay for the upkeep and NYPD protection are barred from sharing it?

For the record my heart and money are on the Occupy Wall Street protesters to staying indefinitely in NYC! Gonna head down there shortly, just need a shower so sanitation doesn't cite me as collection material! :~)

Quite an eventful morning with police violence and arrests. Happy to report only a few bruises on me and that the Lower Manhattan Community Board has decided the Occupiers can not be evicted today. I'm going to upload the pics since the march was impressive and if I'm lucky some of the naughty NYPD shots cam out, so thanks for the interest and support, hope to have that for y'all in about an hour!!

Electronic devices are not my long suit and I am worser with the digital camera than the computer if such a thing can be imagined. It hardly matters but I must have hit a flashy setting or some wrong button, because all the best ones with NYPD aggression were too dark to see anything but the reflective signs! The rest aren't like the daylight it was, but a good assortment of Liberty Park that accurately catch the crowd and spirit if not the weather. Go us!!

I think its OccupyEverywhere.org but if its not somebody smarter please add the right place to go look. Live stream should also have that but dying to see pics so I'll check that a bit later!! :~)

The 1% with the money gets the NYSE space all to themselves and the 99% of the working class voters get to move like chattle behind our fences! That's the 99+1 economic division that's at the heart of the problem!

excellent article, hope you have some epsom for those bruises:)

one point that the occupation hasn't approached yet... there is the 1%, however, those who are above the 250,000 mark are wonderful gatekeepers and need a reminder of just how 'vulnerable' they are when it comes to the 'weakness' of the dollar they so covet that they distance themselves from 'the 99%' who helped them get where they are.

just think its time to really ID those who keep the system as it is.

Yes indeed, you have the right idea there, follow the money, add names and faces, strip off all the covert layers of government, ngo's, corporate subs, holding companies, shells and off shore banking!

No. 14 comment...

Tremendous coverage, so well presented, have at the Varlets and we will dispose of the crooked little King John imitations, all bloated with greed and perversion.,

The NYSE are violating the Constitution, do they even know we have one, by paying public servants to defraud the Public purse.......i.e. New York's crookedi Precinct work dodgers and, lackey dogs of the Swindlers Confederation. Justice for sale, is doing good black market business.

You might suggest some strategic Placarding...maybe...sketch of Bloated Copper with $ hanging from under his cap, stamping on a 99% child:

A picture is worth 1,000 words!

Be safe.
