#Occupy & WikiLeaks Put Faces on America's Enemies

Queen Mother Dr. Blakely says: Occupy the boiler room! It is the simplest form of economic justice or a world leader held to account, right and wrong have clear lines, visible to 99% with transparency, the biggest threat, truth is the enemy!

When you listen to TV News in the USA, one of the issues that becomes clear very quickly is that we have a lot of enemies to worry about.

Even tin foil hat apocalypse is given air time as well as dramatic events like anthrax and shoe bombs, Osama and Muslims, sometimes mortal fear is as insipid as "foreign born, Socialist President".

Yes America, ignore that rain and snow have crippling effects on our local areas, that our first responders, teachers, State and Local public service employees are unaffordable and our hospitals, schools and libraries are closing.

America's infrastructure may be badly crumbling now, but before the Iraq invasion it was Halliburton belt tightening, peace like wellness isn't the money maker pain, suffering and ravaging are.

Just in the decade since 9/11 the numbers of enemies have grown like syndromes and Rx drugs.  But for all the threats we have been treated to by MSM over the past decade, there is a common theme, excess corporate profitability.

NYC 10/30 Liberty Park faces of the enemy, "I'm 7 years old and even I know greed is wrong!"

For all the promotional effort MSM has dedicated to pimping H1N1 pandemic threat and it's Rummy flu vaccine merits, not a word is uttered to the revenue derailing questions of safety of Monsanto's gmo food.

For all the pundits bemoaning Occupy protesters as angry mobs and politicians calling for Assange & WikiLeaks to be charged with acts of treason, not a word is uttered about charges of War Crimes for Geneva Convention violating torture or arrests Banksters for precipitating treasonous economic ruin for America.

For all the promotion of TRUMP luxury brand developer benevolence, not a word of the bully tactics used against the poor in the path of prosperity like Queen Mother and Occupy the Boiler Room reality.

So who is the enemy?  Truth is along with any of the 99% who support a culture of accountability and transparency and believe that education must replace misinformation so free people can self govern effectively.

Union Ironworker from LA in NYC Liberty Park protest. His button reads, "Elizabeth Warren Marry Me" the sign says what 99% feel, "I work, I Vote, I Pay Taxes, I'm Pissed so I'm Here"

WikiLeaks is one of the biggest threats because the evidence they hold is incontrovertible as official sources and they don't say to the public what they do when protected by cloaks of secrecy.

It's some consolation the Australian Press has been critical of their Government for letting Uncle Sam go rouge cowboy with extradition and criminal charges using Civil War era law especially for Assange.  It's like Dick Cheney digging up an archaic whaling law to be used against Greenpeace or so many other cases where public safety is no matter at all.

Everything is about protecting what most often is shown to be criminal and indefensible by any measure, secrets do protect their keepers.

For the 99% of us who pass through in virtual obscurity, enough shared truth will set us free.  Treason is truth, the only thing standing between global independence and a Cabal of Covert Profiteers for whom Patriotism is State Secrets and Truth is fatal to the lucrative status quo.

Each of us as Anonymous legions can help in as many was as there are us, we need to share information and protect its free exchange.

Written in Beijing Chinese Dialect with English translation, "Protect Humanity, Peace, Freedom, Democracy, A long way to go."

Truth is the Enemy, it sometimes comes as a surprise to folks who think the NYTimes is liberal media to see lies there supporting corporatism, but they've done PR for Monsanto to misinform their readers about gmo risk for as many years as I've been following now the NYT has taken aim at AdBusters and OccupyWallStreet

Truth and transparency are the enemies of the 1%ers and their Republican Puppets. The American Public wants an accounting of what their elected officials are doing. Stamping "Top Secret" on embarrassing documents to keep them out of the Public's hands has to stop. OWS, WikiLeaks, and good investigating Journalism by a lone reporter with the courage to dig out the truth are not the enemies of the United States. The enemies of the United States are those that hide the truth from the American Public for their own misguided reasons.

Nicely said thank you, now if we could get the MSM & Washington on the same page we'd be cooking!

not a word is uttered about charges of War Crimes for Geneva Convention violating torture

Have you read the Geneva Conventions? They apply only to:

the present Convention shall apply to all cases of declared war or of any other armed conflict which may arise between two or more of the High Contracting Parties, even if the state of war is not recognized by one of them.

i.e. The US and prisoners the US takes must both be signatories of the treaty, otherwise the conventions do not apply. In addition the following conditions must be met:

Members of other militias and members of other volunteer corps, including those of organized resistance movements, belonging to a Party to the conflict and operating in or outside their own territory, even if this territory is occupied, provided that such militias or volunteer corps, including such organized resistance movements, fulfil the following conditions:[
(a) that of being commanded by a person responsible for his subordinates;
(b) that of having a fixed distinctive sign recognizable at a distance;
(c) that of carrying arms openly;
(d) that of conducting their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war.

i.e. were prisoners taken visibly the enemy and openly carrying arms and adhering to the laws of war? I think not. In fact I don't believe they meet any one of the four requirements.

Are you trying to argue that America has a loophole that makes Geneva Conventions a moot point?

There's a fab position, we should onl observe bans on torture and inhumane treatment of people when contractually bound and in compliance with a very narrow criteria.

Sounds like a liability waiver, which begs the question, how do you claim a moral right to launch war and simultaneously exploit a legal loophole to excuse immoral if not criminal behavior?

Big Fan of evil genius John Yoo perhaps?

Professor Yoo, who I am embarrassed to say holds a tenured position at the law school of my alma mater, the University of California at Berkeley, was already known as the official who provided a legal fig leaf behind which the Bush administration tortured inmates at Guantánamo and Abu Ghraib. His legal misdeeds are widely known, but now they have been exposed chapter and verse. Among the new memos is one written in 2001, in which Yoo and co-author Robert J. Delahunty advised the U.S. that the Posse Comitatus Act, which forbids the Army to be used for law enforcement, and the Fourth Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures, do not apply to domestic military operations undertaken during a “war on terror.”

No law is written that can't be gotten around with a few key words in the right place. Heck of a plan!

Doesn't matter what civil society and legal systems are created for, blow off generations of International agreements and International law, not to mention humanity and create black hole prisons for torture.

Can I sing, Proud to be an America where at least I know I'm free to support government torture?

We still have uncharged, untried limbo prisoners in Gitmo and Bradley Manning has spent a whole year in solitary confinement, in spite of the Human Rights violation that classifies prolonged isolation as torture.

What kind of Nation are we? Can't talk the talk and not walk the walk. If American Government is the beacon of Rights our politicians claim it is, if we are the freest and fairest our actions should show it!

Thanks so much Fletch, glad you liked it, especially excited to get some clear pics with my pocket camera since it's slim odds of avoiding Monet effect, but I adore the portrait of Queen Mother! Lucky me!! :~)
